MIMY @ 17th IMISCOE Annual Conference – ONLINE 1-2 July

Members of the MIMY consortium will be present at the 17th IMISCOE Annual Conference – ONLINE, 1-2 July.

International Migration, Integration and Social Cohesion (IMISCOE) is Europe’s largest and most renowned research network of migration and integration scholars and practitioners. For the first time, this year its annual conference will be hosted online. For more information, please visit the event website.

Amalia Gilodi, Jutta Bessinger, Isabelle Albert and Birte Nienaber from the University of Luxembourg, MIMY’s coordinating partner, will participate to the IMISCOE’s parallel session on mixed-methods research in the study of international migration (July 2 Fifth Round, 13:00-14:30, session 82) with the paper "Mixed Methods to Empower Migrant Youth in Vulnerable Conditions". During their presentation, they will introduce the MIMY consortium and project. The paper will discuss MIMY’s innovative research design as well as how it reflects its place-based and migrant-centred approach.
