Stakeholder Platform Membership

Diverse stakeholders were engaged in the research project through membership of the stakeholder platform, alongside youth peer researchers. Across the nine country contexts, there was a spread of different actors/ sectors/ types of engagement in integration activities represented in each platform. As shown in the below table, there is a range of youth sector, migration sector, wider civil society and statutory services that play a role in young migrants’ empowerment and integration processes.

The intention was to have a balance across different sectors, however the realisation of that goal was influenced by the socio-political contexts e.g. England civil society engagement was much stronger than in Norway, where statutory services dominated. Engagement was monitored and efforts were made to engage those under-represented sectors.
